"Downloaded" is the twenty-fourth episode of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. It first aired on October 26, 2000 on UPN.

Overview

Zurg learns that XR possesses all the knowledge of the Galactic Alliance within his memory banks, and kidnaps the robot in order to gain it all for himself.

Plot

Team Lightyear catch up to Swack, who immediately surrenders while promptly canceling the check he gave to the grounders. Buzz tells XR that this a consequence of his knowledge but the robot refuses to surrender his data before Mira reports an incoming attack. Swack's ship is destroyed while the Rangers escape with Swack and Buzz spots Warp, who makes off with XR's head and leaves the body behind.

Aboard the ship, XR threatens Warp with his combat knowledge from his databanks but a gloating Warp says this is good news, because he knows that Zurg will want that file along with many other classified files XR has. Warp also remarks Zurg will want Vicki Vortex's elusive phone number that he knows XR has, causing the robot to realize the true danger his actions have had. Team Lightyear pursues Warp to Zurg's territory, while using their thrusters to escape his robot guards.

On Planet Z, Zurg is excited that he has all the secrets of the Galactic Alliance, promptly hooking him up and hacking into XR's databanks. Seeing XR struggling not to reveal much info, a taunting Warp says that he has the honor of being used by the most evil computer in the galaxy. As the data is displayed, Zurg voices how each of the files are very interesting. Team Lightyear arrive only to see they are too late, with Zurg confirming the download has finished while Warp tells the Rangers they failed and will not escape, as the hornets are about to attack.
